As a “divorce lawyer”, I am rarely asked marriage advice. Instead, people usually come to me when their relationship is long past salvageable. The funny thing is, I am as pro-marriage as one can get. It’s safe to say that when you’re sick you go to a doctor, and when your teeth hurt you go to the dentist. So should it be any different when you run into legal problems? Now its Sexting, Drugs, and Hip-hop. Today, pornography is free on your home computer, marijuana and pills are more readily available than alcohol, and every teenager gets a car when they turn 16. Two police officers from Fullerton, California will soon stand trial for the fatal beating of a mentally ill homeless man. Officer Manuel Ramos is facing murder charges and Jay Cicinelli is charged with involuntary manslaughter for their participation in the actions that led to Kelly Thomas’s death.
