A Keller teenager has admitted to being drunk at the time of a fatal accident that took the lives of four in Burleson this summer. According to the Dallas Morning News, police reported that the 16-year-old boy’s blood alcohol level was three times the legal limit when he drove himself and seven other teenagers in his truck, going 70 mph in a 40 mph, and crashed into four bystanders on Burleson-Retta Road. Youth pastor Brian Jennings, Hollie Boyles, and Shelby Boyles were helping Breanna Mitchell move her SUV when they were hit by the teen driver; they were killed instantly. Two of the passengers in the truck were also seriously injured. The teen has since been released into his parents’ custody while a trial date is set.
